The celebrity magazine notes he had hoped to shoot that film before reporting to the Moon set in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the end of March. "The prep time and production schedule of the sequel haven't left enough time [for the other film]," Rob's rep confirms to the mag.

There's even speculation that the third movie in the series, Eclipse, will be shot right after New Moon, which could prevent Rob from working on anything other than the Twilight franchise until at least 2010.
